TechInnov Days – 2nd edition
The first edition of the TechInnov Day “Morocco-Israel”, organized by the Ecole Centrale Casablanca in May 2022, was a celebration of innovation through technologies. We were glad to be joined by the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology and École des Ponts Business School (https://lnkd.in/dzg98qhc).
Following the enthusiasm that surrounded the first event, TechInnov Days are coming back with a second edition around the subject of Data Sciences and AI. The first day will be focused on the “Future of AI” and the second day on “ML & Perspectives”.
This year’s edition is organized together with Prof. Nicolas Cheimanoff (director of EMINES – School of Industrial Management / Mohammed VI Polytechnic University), Prof. eric Moulines (École Polytechnique, chair « Data science & Industrial processes ») and Prof. Mohammed El Rhabi (Ecole Centrale Casablanca, head of « Mathematics-Computer and Data Sciences » Unit).
The event will be taking place on January the 26 and 27, 2023 at the EMINES – School of Industrial Management / Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P-Moroccan research university) in Morocco (Ben Guerir, near Marrakech).
Both days will be following a similar structure:
· Early morning: what does the “academic” think, barriers and contributions!
· End of the morning: identified barriers, if they are lifted, what values for what sustainability?
· After an application-oriented plenary conference, the afternoon will be dedicated to startups that have found a market in the field. They will talk to us about their day-to-day activity, their way of working and when possible, the perspectives they envision.
Each day will conclude with a round table discussion that is going to be moderated by Prof eric Moulines. The first one will be dedicated to industry 4.0 and the second to startups.
We are fortunate to welcome renowned speakers such as Yann LeCun, whom you all know, and Michal Valko, another famous data science maker.
